Trip to Fulham / Ausflug nach Fulham

Today we took a trip to Fulham and the playground at Bishop’s park. This is a little further outside of London, so we had to take the overground. Apparently, Hugo loves traveling. He was just happy looking around at all the people, the lights and the doors for over half an hour.

Heute sind wir mal nach Fulham und auf den Spielplatz im Bishop’s Park gegangen. Da der ein wenig ausserhalb von London liegt mussten wir mit der Strassenbahn fahren. Das fand Hugo richtig klasse. Er hat über eine halbe Stunde lang friedlich und vergnügt Leute, blinkende Lichter und Türen beobachtet.

He also got to play with sand for the first time, which he seemed a little confused about. He would run his hands through the sand but then turned around to us to be lifted up again, as if he didn’t like sitting in it.

Er hat auch zum ersten Mal im Sandkasten gespielt. Das fand er aber scheinbar ulkig. Er ist mit den Fingern durch den Sand gefahren aber hat sich dann oft wieder zu uns umgedreht um hochgenommen zu werden. So richtig überzeugt schien er nicht davon.

The swing was much more to his liking. :) This time a little higher and faster than the very first time.

Da gefiel ihm das Schaukeln doch schon eher. :) Diesmal ging es auch höher und mit mehr Schwung als beim allerersten Mal.
