First finger foods / Zum anbeissen

We started offering Hugo different kinds of finger foods to explore, play with and taste. He seems quite interested in it, and he totally gets that it is something to eat. His first reaction always is to put it into his mouth, very slowly and carefully while watching at us for confirmation. So cute! In this video he is trying baked apple for the first time. He seems a little unsure about whether he likes it or not.

Wir geben Hugo jetzt ab und zu Essen in die Hand zum selber Anbeissen, Spielen und Erkunden. Er zeigt immer grosses Interesse und er scheint auf jeden Fall zu verstehen dass die Objekte auf seinem Tisch zum Essen da sind. Seine erste Reaktion ist immer Aufheben und in den Mund stecken, langsam und vorsichtig, und dabei schaut er meist zu uns für Bestätigung. Echt niedlich! In diesem Video probiert er zum ersten Mal gebackener Apfel. Er scheint noch nicht so überzeugt davon zu sein.

Hugo is also great at holding his own cup to drink water. In this video he is trying some bread for the first time. It becomes soft and chewy in his mouth after a while and he seems to enjoy that.

Hugo kann auch schon toll seine Tasse selber halten zum Wasser drinken. In diesem Video probiert er zum ersten Mal ein Stück Brot. Das wird irgendwann schön weich und matschig im Mund, und das scheint ihm zu gefallen.
